Buggie for Mac
Say what’s wrong. Your coding agent fixes it.
Buggie is a Mac app for testing your own product. While you use your product, talk or draw on the screen. Buggie turns each remark into a task for your coding agent, with a video clip of the moment.

Where it goes
The same task, wherever you fix things.
Local coding agents pull tasks from Buggie. Buggie starts AmpCode Orbs (Amp’s cloud agents) for you. Issue trackers get a full issue.
Recreated screens. The agents’ work is illustrated. The task is the one you made above.
What is MCP? An open standard that lets coding agents use outside tools. Buggie runs a small MCP server on your Mac. Your agent asks it for new tasks. Buggie never starts a local agent itself.
- Every task includes
- A title and a clear description
- The clip around the moment
- Your words and your marks
- Clicks and keystrokes, if you allow them
- Console errors, when Chrome is connected

Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Amp CLI, OpenCode and other local agents.
Privacy
Only what you capture leaves your Mac.
- The rolling recording never leaves your Mac. It keeps only the last 1 to 5 minutes, and you choose how many. Older video is thrown away.
- A capture goes to the AI you picked, so it can write the task. You capture when you press ⌃⌥B or say a remark with the mic on. The capture holds the clip, your words, your marks, and the clicks and keys recorded with it. When Chrome is connected, its browser events come too: console output, JavaScript errors and network requests.
- Automatic analysis is on by default. You can turn it off in Settings.
- The finished task goes only where you send it: your agent or your tracker.
- Passwords stay hidden. Buggie never sees what you type in password fields.
- Leave out private sites. For sites you exclude, Buggie keeps no console output, network requests or errors.
- Typing is up to you. Log typed text, keys only, or nothing. When you record one app, typing in other apps is not stored.
- macOS turns your speech into text. This happens on the device when your Mac supports it.

FAQ
Common questions.
Does Buggie start my coding agent?
No. Local agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent and OpenCode connect to Buggie over MCP and pull tasks when you ask them to. Only AmpCode Orbs are started by Buggie, and they run in the cloud.
Do I have to talk?
No. You can draw, circle or add a note on screen with the markup tools (⌥T). Or press ⌃⌥B to open the quick window and type.
What if I mention several things at once?
Each remark becomes its own capture. One recording with three remarks gives you three tasks.
Which AI writes the tasks?
You choose: the coding agent already on your Mac, your ChatGPT account, an OpenAI API key or a Gemini API key. Keys are kept in the macOS Keychain.
What leaves my Mac?
Only what you capture. The rolling recording never leaves your Mac. When you capture a moment (press ⌃⌥B, or say a remark with the mic on), that capture goes to the AI you picked, so it can write the task. Automatic analysis is on by default, and you can turn it off in Settings. The finished task goes only where you send it: your agent or your tracker.
What do I need?
A Mac with macOS 14 or later.
