You say what needs to change. Your coding agent does the work.

Buggie is a Mac app for testing your product out loud. Each thing you say becomes a task — with the video, your clicks and the browser’s console attached — ready for Claude Code, Codex or Amp.

How it works

Keep testing. Buggie writes it up.

Buggie sits in your menu bar and keeps the last few minutes of your screen. Say what you notice, point at it if you like, and choose who does the work.

Try now!

Say what’s wrong the moment you see it. Buggie transcribes as you speak and splits what you say into separate items — a bug here, an idea there. No button to press, no form to fill in.

What your agent gets

One sentence from you.
Everything an agent needs.

A vague ticket gets a vague fix. Buggie watches along while you talk, so every task arrives with the evidence already attached.

The discount isn’t applied to the total

What happened

After applying SAVE10 the Discount line shows −€10.00, but Total stays at €100.00.

Expected

Total drops to €90.00 once the code is applied.

Timeline
  1. click“Apply” next to the discount code
  2. networkPOST /api/cart/discount · 200
  3. voice“The discount isn’t applied to the total.”
  4. drawingCircle around “€100.00”

Found it: the discount line updates, but total is still computed from the cached subtotal. Fixed in cart/total.ts and added a test. 18 tests pass

checkout total is wrong when you use a code?? pls fix

I couldn’t reproduce this. Which code did you use, what total did you expect, and were there any errors in the console? A screenshot of the cart would help.

Your agents

Works with the agent you already use.

Buggie doesn’t write your code. It gives your coding agent a task it can actually finish — on your Mac or in the cloud.

On your Mac, over MCP

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode — any agent that speaks MCP can pull the next task from Buggie, read the evidence and post its result back. Connect it once, then ask it to work your bugs or to keep watching for new ones.

Choose AmpCode Orbs and Buggie starts the run for you. The fix happens remotely while you keep testing, and comes back to you when it’s done.

Private by design

Your screen, your Mac, your call.

Recordings stay on your Mac

Buggie keeps only a rolling buffer of the last few minutes, and keeps nothing unless you flag something. Your voice is transcribed by macOS itself, on-device wherever your Mac supports it, and sites you exclude leave nothing behind.

Nothing ships without you

Buggie prepares the task and the evidence. You decide when an agent works on it, and every result comes back to you — answer its questions, correct it, or send it back.

  • Speech transcribed by macOS
  • Keys kept in your Keychain
  • Tokens in URLs redacted
  • Your AI: ChatGPT, OpenAI, Gemini or your own agent

Questions

Good to know.

What is Buggie?

A Mac app for anyone who tests a product. You use your app and talk; Buggie keeps the last few minutes of your screen and turns each thing you say — a bug, an improvement or a new feature — into a task with the clip, your clicks and the browser’s console attached. Then it hands the task to a coding agent or your issue tracker.

Which coding agents does it work with?

On your Mac, any agent that speaks MCP can pull tasks from Buggie — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, OpenCode and others. For cloud runs, Buggie starts AmpCode Orbs for you. You can also file tasks to GitHub, GitLab, Linear or Jira.

Does Buggie change my code by itself?

No. Buggie prepares the task and the evidence. Your agent does the work once you hand a task over, and the result comes back to you to review.

Is it only for websites?

No. Buggie records a display, a window or a single app, so anything on your Mac works. For web apps it can also read console errors, network requests and the element you clicked from Chrome — you start Chrome with remote debugging, no extension needed.

Which AI writes the tasks?

The one you connect: sign in with ChatGPT, use an OpenAI or Gemini key, or let the coding agent on your Mac do the analysis. Buggie sends one capture at a time.

Where is my data stored?

In a library on your Mac. A capture goes to your AI when it’s analyzed, and to an agent or tracker only when you choose.

What do I need to run it?

macOS 14 or later and the Screen Recording permission. A microphone if you want to talk to it, and Chrome if you want browser details.
